Northwest - End

The area that I enjoyed most was Northern Europe. First half of my gap year was spent in Copenhagen, Denmark in which I enjoyed the people, the culture and the design all over the city and the country. The firm I interned with was COBE Architects, where everyone love what they do and devote themselves in their love. We usually have a firm-wide team breakfast on Monday in the lobby eating fresh breads with butter, share news for office events as well as presenting representative architecture in each intern's home country. I was lucky to be selected as one of 15 interns for fall 2015 and participated in several cool projects in Denmark. During Christmas, we had firm-wide traditional Danish dinner for fish, roasted duck and alcohol. Colleagues joked that duck need to be swim in water so we drink alcohol while eating duck.

At the same time, I traveled to neighbour countires for the northwest end of Europe, clearest and most un-contaminated place in the world. I was totally shocked when first landed on Iceland. The specialist place on planet, all white, in the middle of nowhere, floating on the sea, a place where vacano and ice coexist. I was impressed by the spay when arrived at black beach, an unique place that could deeply strike your heart.
